The Mayfair Hotel reopens
The Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove has been a Miami mainstay for decades with its bohemian vibes and lush landscaping. It was a staple in the 1980s scene and later it was a go to for locals for weddings and other special events.
This piece of Coconut Grove real estate was bought in 2019 and closed for a $50 million renovation and now it is open for everyone to enjoy. Each room in the, newly renamed, Mayfair House Hotel & Garden will be decorated with are and murals from renowned international and local artists.
The new Mayfair will also bring two new hotspots to the already fantastic Coconut Grove social scene.
The Mayfair Grill will be bringing Sonoran-style Southwestern cuisine to Coconut Grove. Integrating the original hotels wood-fired oven, The Mayfair Grill will be serving Mexican fair all cooked on a n open flame. The Mayfair will also feature a cocktail program that will specialize in agave-based drinks.
Mayfair House will also feature a fantastic rooftop bar called Sipsip. Paying tribute to Coconut Grove’s strong Bahamian history, Sipsip will feature maybe the best rum selection in town and Caribbean-influenced dishes. Sipsip will be open to all hotel guest and my reservation only to non-guests.
Coconut Grove is exploding with food and nightlife so now is the time to get into the Coconut Grove real estate market before it is too late!
